Minimally Invasive Valve Repair and Replacement

Minimally-invasive cardiac surgery refers to a specialized set of procedural techniques which allow the heart surgeon to perform the same cardiac surgical procedure as a traditional open heart surgery but through a smaller, less-invasive incision.

The benefit to the patient is that there is less pain, a quicker recovery and a better cosmetic result with the same procedural risk of surgery that is associated with any cardiac surgery procedure.
